Throughout the years, the office has always had a team of 8 to 12 architects, who predominantly deal with architecture and urbanism. In addition to our full–time employees, Porticus has ongoing collaboration with other architects and offices.
The office boasts with numerous successful realizations and competitions, mainly in the Republic of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina (more than 20 awarded and more than 40 realized projects). One of many competitions won was the 1st prize for Hotel Briig at Bačvice, Split in 2015 (with Maja Tedeschi).

Damir Rako, dipl.ing.arch — Founder & Chief Architect
Damir Rako graduated in 1990. at Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb. After graduation, he worked in the AD office in Zagreb. Later he worked in various offices in Berlin for four years. Since 1997 he has been living in Split and founded Architectural studio Porticus.
